Keeping My Eyes on Jesus

Speaking this Sabbath is Simon Liversidge. In Jesus' parable, the Pharisee got his identity from his actions and comparing himself with others. The tax collector knows he has nothing to offer except his need. Jesus says he goes home justified. Jesus is our Savior, but it is hard to keep our eyes on Him. Three things can help us: to know that focus on Jesus is not weakness but strength, salvation is not weakness but strength, and humility is not weakness but strength.
