WORSHIP THIS SABBATH

Speaking this week is Mollie Dupper, UAU's Chaplain, with "The Green Grassy Spot." The disciples were worn out from their time of ministry and come back to Jesus hoping for a break, but more people come in need. What if our rest & peace is not found in a retreat, vacation, place, or season of life when things are perfect...but instead in a person, and His name is Jesus?

Forks and Friendship will be hosted by Steve Ladig’s team. Visitors, please come as our guests. CVC members, please plan to contribute enough food to feed your family plus six others.
Upcoming potlucks:

MINISTRY & SMALL GROUPS NEWS

We have had a great response to our visiting and singing at a few of the local care facilities this spring. We have been asked to return and will be bringing Summer Sunshine to residents at three facilities on Sabbath, July 18, at 2:30pm. If you would like to play the guitar, sing, or help distribute flowers, please contact Linda Becker at Linda.becker@ucollege.edu.

HYMN SING SMALL GROUP: We will be having one more Hymn Sing before we break for the summer. Come join us tomorrow, June 20, for another chance to sing "old" favorites at 6:30pm in the Earliteen Room.
ANNOUNCEMENTS

Beginner I Sabbath School collects canned food labels from the brands of Worthington, Loma Linda, and Caroline. All UPC codes from these can products begin with 45561. Only the can labels can be collected (not the frozen packaging labels). We use these labels in our SS program and then turn them in to the food companies for $0.25 per label. We would be GRATEFUL for your participation! Just remove the entire label from your canned foods, place them in a bag and leave them by the Beginner I SS door or at the church office. Thank you!

The Kindergarten-1st Grade classroom collects a special offering and donations to support Ali’s Closet at the Good Neighbor Community Center. Ali’s Closet focuses on the needs of children of all ages. This quarter, we are collecting non-perishable food, especially easy items for kids to fix on their own during the summer. In early July, the GNCC will bring the box truck with a lift to show the class how they pick up and drop off pallets of food. We invite you to join us in sharing God’s love and blessings with our Lincoln neighbors. Food can be dropped off by the office or in the lobby by the west elevator. Thank you from K-1!

Organ restoration update: Forty thousand dollars is needed to fully fund the organ restoration. There is a dollar-to-dollar matching gift for all donations through August. Donate if you can! All size gifts really make a difference. Thank you! Questions? See Keith Riese.

Remember, CVC has an APP! Search "College View Church" on your app store to download it, or, if you need help, text Xylina at 707.299.0575.

Prayer Focus: "Look unto Jesus in simplicity and faith. Gaze upon Jesus until the spirit faints under the excess of light. We do not half believe, 'Ask, and it shall be given you.' Luke 11:9. Pray, believe, strengthen one another. Pray as you never before prayed that the Lord will lay His hand upon you, that you may be able to comprehend the length and breadth and depth and height, and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." (Testimonies for the Church, vol. 7, 214) Send your prayer requests & praises to Dina Horst at 402.420.5970. Thank you!
