WORSHIP THIS SABBATH

Speaking this Sabbath is Simon Liversidge, our Lead Pastor, with "The Smartest Man in the World." Jesus invites His followers to be connected with Him & promises fruit will result if we are. This fruit has many forms, including sharing the good news, power, the fruit of the Spirit, & living under God's blessing. But, these all come from being with Jesus. Being with Jesus is the source of my desire, the source of my obedience, and the source of my hope.
Forks and Friendship: Join Cecilia Liversidge’s team as they host Forks and Friendship this Sabbath. Visitors, please stay as our guests. If you are a CVC member, please plan on contributing 2-3 dishes to feed your family plus our visitors.

Upcoming Potlucks:
  • May 2 - Forks and Friendship hosted by Carol Silva’s team
  • May 9 - No potluck (UAU Graduation Weekend)
  • May 16 - Forks and Friendship hosted by Gerrie Eddy’s team
  • May 23 - Forks and Friendship hosted by Tabby Coto’s team

April 15 (Online): $9,242.29

Total: $22,752.01
YTD: $145,822.57

% of Annual Budget: 18.01%

MINISTRY & SMALL GROUPS NEWS

CVC Connection: Join us Wednesday evenings! Enjoy a soup supper at 5:45pm in Heartland Hall, followed by many small groups at 6:30pm.
CANVAS meets again this Sabbath for its second installment of Season 2, "Walking with the Son." We will explore what it now means to remain in Jesus — living, listening, and moving with Him. Come see how God will speak to our community next, and bring a friend. See you there!
Do you have a ministry you want to promote? 800-1200 people visit CVC Farmers Market every Sunday. Advertise your ministry/event/class at our CVC booth. Schedule one or more Sundays April 26 - October 25! Contact Chuck Peck at 269.240.0051 to reserve the Sunday(s) you want.
We are excited to share that we will be hosting a BBQ outreach for our community on Sunday, April 26, and we would love your support! Please consider signing up here to bring one, two, or even three items, whatever your heart leads you to give. Every contribution makes a difference as we come together to serve and connect with others. Please drop off your food at 11am ready to serve. We will be at N 22nd St & U St. If you have any questions, contact Renata (402.770.1784).
WOMEN'S MINISTRY: Conquering Warriors Conference April 24-25...It’s Time to Be Filled Again! This conference is for the woman who loves Jesus…but feels weary. The one who pours out constantly, yet rarely feels poured into. The one who is longing for something deeper — something lasting. If that’s you, this space was created with you in mind. This won’t be just another emotional moment—this is an invitation to be renewed with Worship, grounded in the Word, and equipped with real Wisdom for everyday life. Come be refreshed, strengthened, and ready to fight back — not in your own strength, but in His. Bring a friend, bring your heart, and come expectant. There is more for you—and this is your moment to receive it. Register for free through the Church Office at 402.486.2880.
