Mom's Cafe will meet next Thursday, Feb 5! Moms, grandmoms, and soon to be moms are invited. We will begin our time at 9:30am with breakfast for all. Join us as we take time to enjoy fellowship while art journaling or embroidering. A cooking class will be available with Ann Halim for the little chefs 3 years and older, please register your child (so we are prepared) at cecilia.liversidge@collegeviewchurch.org.

A great way to help our church budget is for all of us who can to pitch in and help keep the church clean and looking good. Pick your piece of the church and sign up at the Welcome Center right after church. In this case, many hands DO make less work for our custodial/maintenance team so they can focus on deep cleaning and repairs. Involve your family and teach ownership of our church facilities.

Final Call for Israel this summer. February 1 is the deadline for signing up for our Israel trip this summer. We leave June 14. Contact Pastor Rich if you are interested.

Meal Train for the Cress Family: This past week, Norm Peterson (Father of Trina Cress) passed away after a long battle with cancer. Help us support them during this time by providing an easy meal while they are managing life and loss. Click here to participate.

Annual Dessert Auction by Something Else Sabbath School is in the Fellowship Hall Sabbath January 31 at 6:30pm. We will have pizza and salad for sale to eat, as well as root beer floats and cookie! We will be auctioning off dessert items and a quilt made and donated by class members, as well as four quilts made by Sharon Russell. Proceeds will be going to the Ukrainian fund, the CVC Missions Peru Project (different than the youth mission project to Peru), and the SESS Class Good Sam fund, used to assist short term need in our community. Join us for a fun evening!

CVC Foodnet is deeply grateful for our church home, our dedicated volunteers, and the many generous supporters who make this ministry possible. From donated time and talents to prayers, Best Choice UPCs, and essential resources, each contribution matters. This truly is a ministry that takes a village—and we are thankful for every one of you!

Organ Fund Update: Thank you for continuing to support restoring the organ. Three-fourths of the funds needed for the restoration is on hand! We now need less than $50,000. We hope restoration can be done this spring or summer. As for finishing the organ (putting in the 3rd keyboard), a state-of-the-art digital keyboard can be installed for one-fourth the cost of the actual 1,171 real pipes. Norm Peterson went to sleep in Jesus this past Sunday. Please keep this family in your prayers. The memorial service will be Sabbath afternoon, February 7.

Malcolm Russell's first grandchild was born very premature and the whole family is asking for our prayers. Thank you for caring.

There will be a Q&A Session for the upcoming CVC Missions Peru Project (July 23 - August 6, 2026) in the CVC Fellowship Hall (downstairs area across from children’s sabbath schools - enter through south doors) on Sunday, February 1 at 11am. This is a different project than the CVC Youth Mission Project to Peru. If you are interested in joining us for service in Peru, we would love to see you at the meeting, otherwise call or text Sheryl at 402.770.3392.

We have many coats, water bottles, and miscellaneous goods in the “Lost and Found” section of the coat area behind the Welcome Center. Please check them out and claim what’s yours. The first week of February they will be taken to the Good Neighbor Center. Thanks!
