Prayer Focus: "The petition, 'Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven,' is a prayer that the reign of evil on this earth may be ended, that sin may be forever destroyed, and the kingdom of righteousness be established. Then in earth as in heaven will be fulfilled all the good pleasure of His goodness.” (2 Thess. 1:11) Please send your requests and praises to Dina Horst at 402.420.5970. Thank you!

- Lincoln Adventist Men's Chorus would like to extend a special invitation for men to come and visit the Lincoln Adventist Men's Chorus open practice this Monday, September 25. As we begin season 9 of LAMC's Christian music ministry, we are looking to add devoted working members who would like to share their voices in a male choir. This involves representation from all our Lincoln-area Adventist churches. We will meet from 6:30pm-8pm on the Union College campus in Engle Hall's choir room on the second floor. This is the music building at the north end of the campus located at 3800 S. 48th St. We would love to have you visit and sing with us! If you like what you hear and would like to learn more about joining this special ministry, we will meet with you after the meeting for a few minutes. Thank you for your time and consideration! You can expect engaging presentations with Kenneth Martinez, a young pastor and church planter from Seattle with unique insights on the topic of making faith our own through the tough questions of life. Activities at the retreat will include waterfront, pool, nature walks, and inspiring worship from Commons KC at New Haven and Saturday night activities by The Well. There will be breakout sessions with Nick Snell, Guadalupe Montour, MaKenzie Jean, Kyle Smith, and Ezra Okioma. If you register by this Monday, September 25, the cost is only $30. This has been a need we have had for a long time in this church. Right now, we are looking to outfit the class with the materials. If you feel a desire to help get this class started, please access the link here. Sign up for an item and bring it to the church. There will be a designated drop-off box in the lobby for all the materials brought in.
- What Are Sensorial Materials? Sensorial materials are specifically designed to provide concrete examples of abstract concepts (such as color, texture, sound, taste, and scent.) This form of child learning provides students with a structure and vocabulary for information received through each of the five senses. All items due tomorrow, Sept. 23. Needed are items such as hand sanitizer, sensory mats, putty, fidget spinners, stickers, and tissue. The full list can be found here. Thank you for your contributions!
