Kids are important at CVC and we love helping them grow in their faith. So, from birth, children are welcome at College View Church. We are committed to providing a safe, caring, and fun environment where all children will be introduced to the God of the Bible and His love for them. A team of volunteers, equipped and passionate about leading children in age-specific settings, will help in challenging children to follow Jesus.
Beginner I and II meet downstairs for about an hour, beginning at 10:40 a.m. each Sabbath. Next door to them, two levels of Kindergarten and first-grade children enjoy a Sabbath School program planned especially for them. Children ages 7 to 10 meet up two flights of stairs for Primary, and fifth and sixth graders also gather upstairs for their Juniors sabbath school. Earliteens in seventh and eighth grade have a room to call their own on the ground floor of the annex. Youth meet in a spacious room below Heartland Hall.
In the children’s Sabbath Schools, volunteers assist with planning programs and playing the piano or guitar. Greeters are also needed to welcome children, and other volunteers help plan special events.
Every Saturday morning our Sabbath School ministry engages children and youth in Bible-based, age-appropriate programming meant to teach them about the God who loves them and the blessing of being His kids. Classes start at 9:45 am.
