MARK YOUR CALENDARS... We are excited to announce reConnect, our upcoming revival series will be March 21-27. Please mark down the dates for this week of Christ-centered spiritual revival. Our guest speaker will be Pastor Andreas Beccai, Lead Pastor at Walla Walla University Church.

MEMORIAL SERVICE... for Tyne O’Keeffe is Tuesday, January 28th. If you’d like to celebrate her life and be present to her family, please join us in the Heritage Room downstairs at 6:00 p.m.

DEVOTIONAL EXCHANGE... Begin your day with God and an inspirational thought from a devotional book. Pick up a free devotional book from the tables in the lobby. Bring your previously used devotional books to share with others. The devotional exchange will end on Feb. 1.

CVC TEEN GIRLS RETREAT... This year our youth team is excited to explore how God is in constant pursuit of our hearts! If you are a high school girl, come join us this year in Fremont, NE, February 7-9 for a great weekend away with friends, food, fun and a lot of Jesus! The cost is $12, and we have limited spots available, so RSVP by February 3 with Tori Henton 417.766.3544.

CEMETERY SPACE SALE...Our church has a beautiful cemetery on the NW corner of 70th and Pioneers, and many of our church members have purchased spaces there. The cost for a space is going up on April 1, so if you would like to purchase one, now may be the time. Cemetery spaces can be purchased through our church office.

CARE CONNECTIONS...Would you consider taking part in our caring ministry here at College View Church? Our Care Connections team meets once each month to discuss how we can best care for shut-in members, people who are sick, and those who are grieving a loss. We send cards and visit with these individuals. JOIN UNION COLLEGE... for the 67th Annual Music Festival on January 31 and February 1 featuring 165 choral students from academies in the Mid-America Union. The Festival Choir will perform on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. in the CVC sanctuary. Each school’s choral group will be featured in a concert on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. in the CVC sanctuary. The Festival Choir will also sing for CVC worship on February 1. All performances are free and open to the public.

WOMEN OF SPIRIT... will meet in the Heartland Hall on February 3rd with a NEW start time of 6 p.m. Sylvana Airan will share the story of God’s protection over her life, from childhood in Pakistan to her current life in America. Dinner and childcare provided, please RSVP at 402.486.2885. A donation amount of $10 is suggested.

TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY...We have several people that would love to attend church regularly at CVC but have no way to make it here on Sabbath mornings. Would you be willing to get on a schedule to give a ride to someone in need? Please contact the church office to let us know. This is a great way to make an impact on someone’s life.

SEEKING A LEADER...Our greeting ministry is a critical part of what makes this church welcoming and comfortable to both members and visitors. We are looking for someone to lead the greeting ministry. Are you an organized person who can create a schedule for our greeting team and send out reminders? This could be the perfect opportunity for you to serve the Lord and help to create a welcoming environment here at College View Church. VOLUNTEER FOR MEGA CLINIC...Here is your chance to be the fulfillment of Isaiah 58 and serve on a mission trip in the States. Pathway to Health Free Mega Clinic (a Ministry of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists) Indianapolis, IN April 8-10, 2020. 3,000 dental, medical and non-medical volunteers are needed in service to the uninsured and under-insured patients anticipated to access the 3-day mega clinic. Register the whole family for this event. Individuals 13 yrs and older may volunteer plus a dynamic children’s program will be in place for those younger than 13 yrs.
