THE PTSO...The Parent Teacher Student Organization at CVA is making home games more fun by selling full meals at the concession stand along with tasty snacks. They are selling Haystacks ($4), an Enchilada Meal ($5), and Rice Bowls ($5) at each home game with all proceeds going to support students and teachers of CVA.

MAN CAMP...Coming up soon! A lot of boys grow older and never know what it means or takes to be a man, always faking it hoping that no one will ever find them out. Man Camp weekend is designed to stop that culture, to help produce godly men who are warriors, kind and good. This is for 7th - 12th grade men and will be September 28-30. Cost is $20. TERRORIST’S SON TO SPEAK FOR UNION COLLEGE ...As the son of an assassin who helped mastermind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing plot, Zak Ebrahim grew up surrounded by hate. But he made a different choice, which he chronicled in his book, The Terrorist’s Son. Ebrahim will share his story of peace on September 25 at 10:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the College View Church. GIRLS’ RETREAT...The 3rd Annual “A Day with Jesus” is coming! A one-day retreat for 7th-12th grade girls at College View on September 29, hosted by the CVC Youth Department. Speakers Kourtney Shoemaker and Leslie Lopez will be sharing their testimonies on how they took charge of their personal relationships with Jesus.
